I managed to get a reconditioned model. It's spotless and could easily have been sold as new. Not sure I'd have paid £50 for it but consider mine a bargain at £35. Bought mainly to help alleviate an issue I was having with my eyes due to pollen. It's very well built and feels solid towards others I looked at. Very quiet operation. Mine is used in a bedroom and it's never kept me awake. As others have said it does give off a bleachy kind of smell after a while on full power. This is easily remedied by switching to the lower setting. To my way of thinking it just proves that it's doing it's thing. Definitely the right choice for me. You get what you pay for I guess. Do note the dimensions. It may be slightly bigger than you'd imagine.

I don't know what it was about this product but it caused a stink in my house every time I used it even on the low settings, I'm not the only one who had this problem as I found out when I searched online. It took weeks for the smell to disappear, hence would not recommend.
