I purchased this about a month ago and find that it is a significant improvement over the previous Samsung phone I had which was the Core Prime. It is faster in touch response due to faster processor and the newer Lollipop OS is much better as well with less lock ups and does a better job operating with various apps. The internet access is much better and more reliable even though it is not a newer dual band. It's acceptable and can't fault that for the price of this phone which was no more than what I paid for the Core Prime a couple years ago. It also may be a consideration to purchase the latest A3 phone that will be released for 2017 and the preliminaries showed improvements but it was not clear yet how meaningful those updates will be for the. The biggest splash I noticed with this phone was the display and having an AMOLED screen is really nice and pretty in simple terms. Plus the screen is bigger and easier to navigate which also helps texting too which was a hassle before. Overall, I am very happy with this version of phone for the price and features and don't feel outed that I did not buy an S7 or iPhone since this is more than adequate for my needs. How could I not be happier only paying unlimited T,T, and 5 GB of data for only 35 a month...30 with autopay ! A great find in my opinion.Read full review

The camera's pixel quality on this phone is unacceptable. It is virtually useless to take a good picture. The phone functions are fine but because the lack of camera ability I need to buy another phone. Very disappointing.

This is a very good phone. Only drawback so far has been the camera, which is not terrible, it just could be better. Very good battery life, I have never had it run down to even 40% on a full day. The new OS is pretty slick, however there were some customizations that I could not configure like I wanted when it came to notification alerts. Strong processor, lots of ram, very nice price. You will enjoy this phone.

I decided to get 2 of these. One EA. For wife and I. She loves hers, she switched from the galaxy 3. I've been around with several phones. From a LG to a krycera back to an LG Stylo G for the bigger screen. That sucked. Couldn't move apps to memory. Marshmallow 6 took more then half the memory of 8GB so I'm now with a Galaxy J3. It's a good little phone. Got all my apps back on this one. With half the 16GB still left. If it wasn't for the $50 price, I would have gone with the J7. Bigger screen. But am happy with it for now.

I purchased this phone after my German Shepherd puppy pretty much destroyed my Galaxy S3. So far, I love this phone. My only complaint is that it does not have an internal music app. Music has to be streamed through Google Play. At least it transferred all of my music on my sd card to Google Play, so I can still listed to all songs. I plan to upgrade eventually to the J7 or the S7.
