I bought this particular phone to replace my old Nokia 6300. The only reason for this was the charging jack was too loose to charge & I was using two batteries to keep the phone topped up. Hence I was looking for same or similar replacement. The 6300 was a bit more expensive, so in the end I found this C2-01 at a fair price & on Orange so I could continue as before without hassle-changing no.etc. Anyway -back to the phone - it has proved to be a good buy for me.I wanted to stick to Nokia as I find their phones easy to use & navigate around the menu.It does most things I need -takes good photos easily & quickly & because it has a micro memory card I can download to my P.C.without any fuss. The txt menu is good as it lets you see your 'conversations' without having to pressing the back button every time.I quite like the ringtone menu - I am not a fan of rock tunes or 'pop' songs . I need something that will catch my attention before the caller rings off & a txt alert that does just that!These are the main features I use . The battery wouldn't last long enough for me to think about using the radio facility but nice to know its there if needed.I would like a balance total to come up on screen (like my cheap Nokia does)but that is about the only negative I have.Nice phone good clear display & Orange Pay As You Go - greatRead full review
This phone is excellent value for money, it was the cheapest phone I could find to replace my water-damaged smart phone. I was very happy with the purchase and is perfect for a back up phone. Also, a very neat sized product, very easy to use.
it was in excellent condition! i only gave 3 stars because it wasn't clear that when it said it was locked to orange i wouldn't be able to use any other network-i assumed i'd be able to use any network powered by ee....

I replaced my smart phone with this C2-01as I didn't get on with the touch screen, I prefer digits so I chose a Nokia because of their reputation for ease of use and overall I am happy with this phone as its easy and simple to use and I don't have to charge it every day like I had to do with my smart phone!
So fed up with Smart phones - I want to make and recieve phone calls, not faff about with "Apps"!! Loved my 6310i, but needed 3G, and the Nokia four way navigation button so useful. Went for this baby, pretty hard to beat. Gripes? No flashing light to show waiting text messages/Voicemails - real downstep from 3109c. And keys fairly tight spacing for my meaty digits. But that's being picky. Call quality good, UI good, battery life back to sensible levels, light and compact. Take a lot to tempt me back to a glass slab as long as this keeps delivering. Do yourself a treat. Get a PHONE, not a brick!
