Checked out a few different smart tv’s but in the end I found this one to be great value, I paid for it and picked it up the same day found it was very easy to setup and use the picture is excellent, very clear sound is great.

Took a whiule for an aged non-technocrat to connect to e-bay and I strill haven't worked how tofimnd my PC or laptop (but that is only a small niggle.) I do not like not having "normal" access to the BBC teletext service - the on-line equivalent is more time consuming to use - and does not cover all I like to look at. But I can find teletext if I switch to satellite input Getting col;ours and sound right also took time. End result - only the scre3en size mnakes it a better set than my old Sony KDL32W5810

Initial problem with switch on when picture appeared scrambled. After reading about this I factory reset the TV and also reset via mains switch on/off for 1minute. Ensured set was connected to the internet for firmware and software updates. So far no more problems and picture is now stable and of very good quality. Considering the price point of this Toshiba TV the quality is very good. I subsequently experienced similar problems with a 49 inch version but following the above procedures all is now well. The sound quality from this Toshiba is very good indeed. No need for a sound bar.

Image quality and condition are good. The only problem while surfing online is it hangs a bit sometimes and then stops working. I have to restart the TV to get it to work properly again. I'm not sure if this is a fault with the TV or this is due to patchy internet.

Picture quality is excellent for the price after messing with the settings. The smart apps all work as expected, and there are a surprising amount of them! Sound is much better once Dolby Audio is switched off, as you can then increase the bass level. The panel is IPS so black levels aren't perfect, but viewing angles are pretty wide and colour can be very vibrant. For £224 it's beyond what I could have expected.
