I bought mine from a different supplier but cost around the same price. When I first opened I was surprised by the weight. It’s heavy. But this is a good thing as being weighted it allows the device to have more bass, depth, and volume. At first I was a bit sceptical that it would sound good because it was so small. Was I wrong. The sound out of this is amazing. Deep, rich audio. Bass is deep and not too boomy. The treble is crisp and clear. Even at full volume there is no distortion. This is the special edition and is charged via usb c There is no cradle which I don’t miss as I’ve never owned one with a cradle. My son keeps taking mine so may have to buy another. Buy as you will not regret it. Battery life is meant to be 12 hours but at half volume I get 16 hours.

I tried a cheaper alternative (£70 new) and the quality all round was far inferior to the SoundLink Mini. The battery lasts for around 5 days of use at a low volume while working. Excellent sound quality at all volumes and easy operation.
